Full Moon Highlights 2008
Hi Everyone,
The Full Strawberry Moon will be on June 18, 2008 in the fire sign of Sagittarius. This sign is governed by the biggest planet of abundance, Jupiter, and loves to give you the itch to travel and learn about the planet Earth. But on the same day, Venus, the planet of love, glides into the more stay at home sign of Cancer. Did I hear you say "should we stay or should we go?" Then on June 19th, Mercury turns direct in the talkative sign of Gemini, who invites the Sun to come home in the sign of Cancer on June 20th. Whew! I guess we will all be at home discussing how we can pull off that summer vacation at cost effective prices.
The dramatic emotional pull of any Full Moon will likely manifest in different ways depending on the energy surrounding it. This Strawberry Full Moon will have a more independent flavor to it and will be sending out a vibration to either become a teacher or student in so many ways. This sign of Sagittarius loves to talk and argue. We may turn into sounding boards around friends or family to bounce off political, or religious beliefs, philosophical ideas and future plans. The great Winston Churchill, a fellow Sagittarius, once said " a fanatic is one who can't change his mind and won't change the subject". Keep your banter light and non-judgmental this week. Take what you can and leave the rest. The direct motion of our communications, Mercury, will have meetings running smoothly again and projects going forward at a quickened pace.
Going out on a first date? This Full Moon will have Neptune in the back seat riding along wanting to drink, take drugs, and escape into a fantasy land. The safe bet is to check the movie theatres for an adventure film like the latest "Indiana Jones" and clip out a coupon to a cultural restaurant. Go somewhere you've never been and enjoy a new experience with foreign cuisine. Consume more water than usual as this Fiery Full Moon is famous for dehydration. Go easy on the salt intake as it destroys the bones and hampers the flow of blood. Hips, glutes and thighs will be crying out for a workout, as these are Sag's favorite places in the body which will require a major burn off. How about a day time date of biking and hiking? Plan a new path with a breath taking view including a romantic sunset. Sporty attire is best now and let that hair flip and bounce with life. Take along Mom's old fashioned muffins and lemonade for a healthy snack. Then turn up the tunes to include the vibrational healing sound of G sharp that will be a clearing portal for all those bodily aches and pains.
